The ceremony takes place in a Town Hall, 

either on a terrace overlooking the sea,  in a garden or in a lovely hall.  The Mayor of the town or an official appointed

by him will read the Civil Codes regarding reciprocal rights

for husband and wife.   All you  have to do is sign a paper.

A symbolic wedding can be performed after the signing of the

legal papers in the Town Hall.  A priest will perform a lovely  service that can be held either on a terrace, in a garden or in a little church.

Church weddings take a bit more planning with  paperwork  and if it is not to be performed in the Roman Catholic Church a civil wedding must take place beforehand for it to be legal.  Please contact us for all the details.
